The anti Islam forces have destroyed world peace by targeting the Muslims because of their biases and the Muslims could face the challenge only through complete unity in the rank and file, he said while addressing a large gathering of the Pakistanis at Riyadh organized by the Majlis e Pakistan.Syed Munawar Hasan said, the US and its allies were spilling the Muslim’s blood in every part of the world. A full-fledged war had been started against the Muslims by blaming them for terrorism anywhere on the globe. The Muslim rulers were being forced to take undemocratic and dictatorial decisions which were creating hatred between the ruled and the ruled. In Pakistan, the masses were being killed in drone attack and military operations.
JI chief said, the US war against the Muslims world in the name of war on terror had shaken the foundations of the US economy as well. The US was under debt of trillions and was fast reaching the stage of bankruptcy. In spite of its war losses, the US had not caused much harm to the Afghans, was now licking its wounds and was retreating from Afghanistan.
In Pakistan, he said, the people were suffering due to load shedding, lawlessness and price spiral. The rulers were plundering public wealth with both hands. On the other hand, load shedding of electricity was increasing only due to non payments to the power companies. Similarly, non payments to Pakistan Railway for oil was leading to the closure of the train service.
The rulers, he said, were neither implementing the Parliaments resolution nor the Supreme Court decisions which was causing mental agony to the general public.
Referring to the Pak-India talks, Syed Munawar Hasan said the two countries had been holding talks for the last 64 years but to no end. New Delhi was not ready to accept Kashmir as a disputed territory and its anti-Pakistan policies had always caused the failure of these talks, he added.

In his reaction to the Prime Minister Gilani’s announcement, Liaquat Baloch said that the naval base debacle after the Abbotabad tragedy had proved the government’s failure and shown that the rulers were least concerned about the national security. The nation as a whole had expressed its distrust in the government, he added.
He said the rulers were simply obeying the US dictation but there could be no improvement of the situation without getting rid of the US slavery

LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Wednesday rejected the government’s commission for the inquiry of the US forces operation to kill Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad on May 2 and demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident.
PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif called for formation of a judicial commission, with full powers, to probe the agencies failure to detect the intrusion of the US helicopters which conducted a 40-minute operation.
He said chief justice of the Supreme Court should head the judicial commission and chief justices of the four provincial high courts and Islamabad High Court should be members of the commission.
Nawaz said the judicial commission should have the powers to summon anyone who they consider must be questioned about their failure in the whole episode. He gave a three-day time to the government to respond to his demand, saying that he would chalk out future plan after three days. He also proposed that the judicial commission must be given 21-day time to complete investigation into the US operation, which he termed ‘attack on the country’s sovereignty and independence’.
The former prime minister said that findings of the judicial commission should be made public so that the nation knows blunders of those responsible. He said the government agencies, which are supposed to be vigilant, failed to get information about the movement of the US military helicopters.
The opposition leader stressed that the intelligence agencies should not indulge themselves in politics and must play their role to keep an eye on the security of the country and protection of the people. Nawaz said the world is surprised as to how the intelligence agencies were unaware of the presence of Al-Qaeda chief in Abbottabad, saying that the world is raising fingers at Pakistan after the incident.
“The armed forces have not given satisfactory answers and the Osama raid has affected the morale of armed forces,” Nawaz said after presiding over a two-day meeting of the party’s top leaders in Islamabad. ‘No one would be allowed to use Pakistani soil for terrorism and extremism as there is no place for terrorism in the country,’ Nawaz said. Dismissing Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s announcement of a probe by the army’s Adjutant General as inadequate, Nawaz said the proposed judicial commission should also probe whether there was any tacit agreement permitting operations by US forces in Pakistani territory.
